I am a Tabla Visharad (Graduate) from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. I have been playing the Tabla since the past 30 years and teaching online since the past 14 years using Skype sessions. I have over 50 active students from various countries including India, US, UK, Australia, Canada, France and others. Over the past several years of teaching Tabla online, I have found that there are a few things that help students learn quicker in an online learning environment. Things like repetition, common mistakes that people do while practicing, how to be mindful of them and how to self correct etc. are critical for online learning. In these self paced video lectures, I have included all such ways of teaching so that you are able to learn Tabla without having to be physically present with the teacher.
